About me
I am very motivated and am interested in pursuing a career in professional writing. I know that I would be of great value to you as a writer as I am extremely prolific and work best to deadlines. I am used to email communications as within my work experience it is entirely necessary for me to be in constant communication with entertainments PRs and other businesses.
I am able to use all Office programmes, am familiar with Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) and online marketing.
Since graduating, and during my final year of university, I have been working with a free publication within Sheffield City Centre called S1 Magazine (please see *). After six months I took on the unpaid position of Editor for the magazine. Within my role as Editor I was responsible for communicating with our contributing writers, sources content for both the printed magazine and the online site, editing features and articles, chasing up writers, writing and sourcing my own articles and uploading each story onto our website. It was my responsibility to ensure that all online content was of the highest written standard and that each writer fitted the house style of S1.
I have recently started my own website (*) on which I talk about the issues facing young women today. Well, that and a bit of pop culture just for fun.
Writing is my passion and I want my career to be my passion!
