About me

In the last 2 years I have been completing various freelance jobs and internships within the fashion and beauty industry. Most recently I have been working as part of the Sales and Events team for Novus Leisure.

I started off in Novus Leisure as a Sales Executive and was promoted after 1 month to a Senior Sales & Events Executive. Once promoted I was appointed to help head up the opening of a brand new venue in Mayfair. Here I planned and organised the launch parties and once the venue was opened I have been setting up meetings with new businesses and keeping in touch with past clients. I have also been in charge of organising events for clients over the busy Christmas period. Whilst at Novus Leisure I have learnt not only reactive skills but proactive too.

As well as working at Novus Leisure I also work for a new fashion website The Muse Tv. Where I co-host weekly episodes and work on the social media aspects of the site.

In the past as well as interning I have assisted various stylist's on shoots for different publications in and out of London these include: Lara Myall for Closer, Dinah Turner for The Mirror and Paula Maddin for More Magazine. I also covered stylist Charlotte Kewley when she was unwell on a music video shoot.

After finishing a 6 month placement at Closer Magazine in October I was given a Freelance Position for 6 weeks to compile the 8 page "Christmas Gift Guide' and a "Stocking Page".

During this I not only concentrated on women's fashion and beauty, but menswear, food, children and interior. I also organised for some of the products I featured to be given away as part of Closer's Christmas Giveaway.
