About me
Hi there, I'm Charlie and I love all things music and sound. I work across all forms of media to compose, design and blend all sorts of sonic palettes.
I count myself lucky to do what I love everyday and to be surrounded by the inspiring people at Squeak E Clean Studios. My work is eclectic, and I pride myself on being a versatile composer and sound designer. I particularly love pushing the boundaries of where music ends and sound begins to create unique sonic landscapes.
In my career I've had a few highlights that I'd like to share with you. Recently, I was the creative lead, composer, sound designer and mixer on the hit Audible Original series 'King of Sting' which reached number 3 on the Audible podcast charts and was awarded as an Honoree at the 2021 Webby Awards. My work for SEAT Ateca, which was a modern pop/hip hop adaptation of Rhythm of Life was also awarded as a Finalist at Australia's AWARD Awards in 2021.
I've worked with countless global brands such as Netflix, Google, Nintendo, Ford, HP and creative powerhouses including Buck and Wieden + Kennedy among others. I've also written scores for short films, animations and feature films; including the award-winning documentary 'Balentes'.
Outside of this crazy, cool industry I write and produce my own music under the moniker Patches Paradise and work as a touring musician, having toured Australia and shared stages with artists including Pnau and Vera Blue.
