About me

My name is Charlie Richardson a freelance production runner based in London. I have recently completed the 'ScreenSkills: Coronavirus basic awareness on production training', as well as having a 'QA Level 3 Award in emergency first aid at work' (RQF) from 1st Option Safety Group. I also have a clean full UK Driving Licence.

I have worked in the studio environment, at Europe's largest TV Studio, at BT Sports Studio for some major broadcasters such as; Amazon Prime, BT Sports, BBC and Avalon Television.

Working on a range of shows such as; Love Island: Aftersun (ITV2), Europa League Football (BT Sport), Hey Tracey! (ITV2), Back of The Net (Amazon Prime), Super Bowl LV (BBC) and Rugby Tonight (BT Sport).

I have also worked as a location runner on a range of exciting content from short films, music videos, online spots, sports coverage and television programmes. For brands such as; Lad Bible, Waitrose, Tabasco, BP and Channel 4.

Outside of work, I still love creating and being creative. A short film that I wrote, produced and directed was nominated at the Royal Television Society Awards South for Best Short Feature, and I was also long-listed for the Bill Vinten GTC University Awards, which recognises excellence in camerawork.
