About me

I graduated with a BA(Hons) degree in Graphic Communication from Cardiff School of Art and Design in 2009. After graduating I went straight into a 3 month work placement at Saltmarshe Art Publishers, a contemporary fine art and photography gallery. My role here was to assist with the digital print and design of prints for the gallery. I gained valuable experience preparing print ready files and understanding different printing techniques. My role also included design for various marketing displays for the gallery including advertisements, company branding, graphics for the e-commerce website, greeting cards, leaflets and promotional posters and signs.

After my work placement I was fortunate enough to work freelance for a year working regularly with Seren, an independent literary publisher, working from creative briefs to produce book cover designs, layouts and artwork for new publications. Although I loved working freelance I wanted a permanent/steady job and began working at Webber Design.

Webber Design is a design studio that produces a wide variety of design from branding and stationary to brochures, newpapers and websites. My main role at Webber Design was to produce the bi-monthly newspaper for Tata Steel.
