About me

Hello,

I am a senior creative and content professional with experience in advertising, TV production, documentary films and photography. I'd like to work at Twist, and help create great branding and engaging content.

As a copywriter, I have built advertising campaigns on the tenet that facts persuade; working diligently to find that one memorable fact with which to create lasting advertising. I dig first, write later.

I think good advertising is nothing less, and nothing more, than a great event. People remember events, and good branding is about making sure people remember all the good events in a product's life. Events are also content - that goes into telling stories people like to hear, and retell. That is what I would like to do at Twist. Tell the stories brands would like to be told of them, and create events that make the stories possible.

I understand and adapt to new technologies quick, and have varied interests that influence and inform my writing.

One of which is my MA in Archaeology for Screen Media from the University of Bristol.

Over the course of the programme, I have helped produce 15 documentary shorts and 2 fiction shorts, in various capacities: researcher/writer, producer/production assistant, camera & sound operator.

Since graduating, I have worked on two exciting projects, largely in a development/set-up role.

At Prasad Media Networks in Chennai, India, I oversaw development of new content - documentaries and short fiction - for distribution to smart (handheld) devices. At Maiam.com, I was an Executive Editor, responsible for development of content (text, audio & video). Maiam is a start-up online magazine and portal that will carry opinion and analysis on issues from Politics, History, Cinema, Arts & Literature. I worked across the content/editorial, project development and administration functions.

These are some of the skills that I will bring to the table at Twist. And work with the team to deliver great result for every brand, every time.
