About me

Having seen your advert for "Video Producer" i am sending this email to forward my interest in the role.

I work very well in a team, very creative, excellent attention to detail and can always work to deadlines. Reliable and self motivated, I have the ability to work without supervision utilising my own initiative. I possess very good management skills due to my time as a music video producer, where I also gained experience in running my own company and company projects. Through those experiences I have had in running my companies music video projects I can say I have proven ability to deliver multiple projects running concurrently very calm and effectively. I have managed music video budgets in excess of £30000 effectively, on budget and on time. Very resourceful and very good at research which was gained from working on many small budget videos and having to do more than one role to gain success with the music video e.g. research, producer, location scout and 1st ad. I have also had to generate investment/ product placement for many music video's i have worked on.

I have a really good relationship with various camera and lighting companies within the uk and have many contacts for staff/crew and location companies. I have a excellent knowledge when it comes to camera's and i am very confident when shooting video, having used a range of various camera's e.g. Red One, Red Epic, Sony F3, Canon C300, Canon 7d, Canon 1D and shooting various budget video's on them. I also own a Hacked Panasonic Gh2 which I shoot low budget music video's on in my spare time.

I have excellent communication skills and customer service skills achieved through interactions within an office and customer service environment. Very good administration skills due to two years experience as an administrative assistant within a charity environment. Very good sales skills averaged 1 in 2.3, which helped bring my negotiation skills to an advance level and also my face to face communication skills.

Highly literate with MS office applications Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook also have knowledge of Microsoft Project, Lotus Notes, Maya and 3D Studio Max. Highly literate with various versions of AutoCAD 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 SolidWorks 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 also some knowledge of the Ideas, Buzzsaw. Literate with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After affects and Premiere CS5.5 applications. Trained to Prince2 methodology in regards to project management, I also possess a full UK driving licence and have my own car.
