About me
I am a Picture Editor/Photographer with extensive experience within print and online publishing, on both sides of the Picture Desk. I am an internationally published photographer for features, portraits, restaurants and food, interiors, events and travel. I also have vast experience in shoot production, including casting, location scouting and crew commissioning. I have worked on many national and international picture desks commissioning world class photographers, sourcing high end imagery, art directing photo-shoots (including covers), project and budget management, copyright clearance and working with events photographers.

Being experienced in both photography and picture editing, I find the two skills complement each other - I know what picture editors need and what looks great in layout as well as understanding what makes a stunning shot and keeping to brief. I am very adaptable and a fast, hard worker who is used to working within tight deadlines. I love new challenges and work well in a team, hitting the ground running in whatever environment I find myself in, yet my photography experience ensures I am good at working alone and thinking on my feet. I have the experience and skill-set to be confident in any new work situation.
