About me

My interest and passion for the design world came later when I chose my career four years ago, I was one of the second group. I could tell you that I have always wanted to be a designer, that I love to draw or make models but I would be lying to you. The truth is that I chose this degree because I had no idea what to do and I saw that it was one of the options that attracted me the most.

During the first year I felt a bit lost since most of my classmates belonged to the first group of students previously mentioned. They did everything right: drawing, photography, brochures... so I got really demotivated. But during the second year something changed, all the subjects we did were about computer programs like Photoshop, Illustrator or Rhinoceros. At first it took me a bit to get used to them and all their commands but the truth is that over time I started to fall in love with the design thanks to them. I spent hours in front of the computer modelling all the small details of each piece. I was delighted, I hadn't only gotten to like the design, but also to be inspired. Also, my educational experience gave me multiple opportunities to develop my creativity, specially the subject "Communication design" which end up being my favourite and its the main reason why I apply to this master. In there, we made multiple campaigns which include photography, recording and editing.

Therefore, I chose to do the internship in a studio where I could do this modelling part. My university offered me Ricardo Alcaide's studio and although I knew it was going to be a challenge, which it was, since I didn't have any experience in the field of the production of ephemeral spaces, I decided to choose it. Thanks to that, I improved my 3D modelling a lot.

After finishing my degree in 2018 I decided to have a break and I went to New York to study a Marketing course (6 months) and also in my free time I was practising HTML and CSS since I started learning at university and I fell in love with it

Finally, this September I started studying an MA in Communication Design at Ravensbourne University. I really like studying there since it gives you the freedom to research and study whatever you want so I continued investing my time with coding, but sadly due to Coronavirus I have to continue it online now. Despite being a disadvantage, having more free time I have dedicated myself to learning more about programming and I am learning Javascript and Phython at the moment.
