About me
I'm writing you to introduce myself in the hope of discussing this possible job vacancy with you.
I graduated in media writing in June 2009, and since then I've been working within the film industry as runner first, then as assistant producer and director and more recently as camera operator and editor. During these years I had the opportunity to learn new, interesting things about this industry, as well as improved my professional skills with the camera and with editing programmes. It also gave me the chance to understand what I want to achieve in my future, what I'm good at and what I love doing.
I then decided to I attend a web & graphic design course and right now I'm building up my online portfolio and get experience and exposure through free work for family and friends. I'm really passionate about what I'm doing as it fascinates me what amazing things these design programmes (Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop) allow to do. I had my first approach with the graphic computer design In Italy just after College while I was working for an architect which taught me how to use AUTOCAD; I learnt how to use it very quickly, and I really loved drawing projects with it! In the past few years I also got to know and learn different video editing programmes while I was working within the film industry, such as Final Cut Pro, Cyber Link, Windows Movie Maker.
I don't have yet a long commercial experience in the graphic design industry, but I really love this job, I'm very passionate about it and I'm really eager to learn. Right now I'm working freelance and for friends and family while looking for junior or intern position to gain that more experience I need to grow up within this industry.
Please consider my résumé that stated my qualifications in detail. I can be contacted most easily on my mobile phone or by email (see details at the top of the CV) to arrange an interview at your convenience.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Cecilia Antonini
