About me
I enjoy working in this fast-paced environment. I get a great deal of satisfaction from the sense of pressure and take great pride in the work I create. However, I am looking for something new, and more demanding, something that will require me to push myself further. I am in need of a more challenging role and working environment. One where I can apply myself further as at the moment I am in a position within a franchise where I cannot be promoted any further. I thrive on learning new skills and developing these quickly.
I am currently working as a Digital Artist & Production Manager for a Photographic Studio and have been doing so for just over 2 years. I am currently responsible for the retouching and art-working of all customer orders that go through the studio; the production cost of the business; the quality of work submitted to our main lab, and the quality of products handed over to the customer; the time taken from order to the customer.
I maintain the studio production ratio within the required target, and ensure that the studio has appropriate resource and capability to meet work demands each month. Working along side photographers and sales people to clarify any instruction or additional manipulation that may be required. Images that are submitted to our main lab has to be of the required format, correct profile and include the appropriate paperwork. I have to provide training and coaching or give advice on digital technology for other staff where required.
