Dear Sir/Madam

I am responding to a job vacancy that I have found on Creative Pool website.

I have just received a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Industrial design from Bournemouth University. In the third year of my degree I did an industrial placement within a Point of Sale design company which has led me to pursue a career as an Artworker.

I feel that given the opportunity I could excel as a Designer in your company. I have had strong experience whilst on my placement working as a graphic designer whilst at Kesslers International. To add to my list of skills I am very efficient, organised and reliable. In my final year of University I organised a team of twenty two people to design and create and exhibition to show our final year work. I found that I possess good leadership skills and was able to manage the team successfully towards our goal. I had to ensure there was clear communication between everyone involved; from the universitys marketing team down to the students. This was to ensure that everyone was working to the same goals and deadlines, to make sure that the show was set up on time, looked professional and clearly showed the work of the students.

My degree has equipped me with a background of the technical skills and knowledge which I feel makes me a strong applicant for the Junior Artworker role.
