About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I'm writing to you with interest regarding the role of Production Assistant. I am an English Literature graduate from the University of Exeter. Having just finished my degree and graduating with a 2:1, I am eager to step into the arts industry, publishing being my particular area of interest.

Whilst I do not have extensive experience in the publishing industry, my time at Faber & Faber cemented my desire to enter such an industry. I am not only a keen reader but I am a writer. I have recently been accepted at the Royal Court Theatre's Unheard Voices writing programme, having submitted one of my original scripts. I have written and directed two plays at University, which were immensely fulfilling and enlightening experiences. Creative writing aside I also write a blog, *, which aims to provide an arts directory for the creative and social Londoner.

I have had varied experience in work environments, working in two prestigious clothing retailers, working with children every summer since the age of 15 as a music assistant to my current employment at the Tavistock and Portman clinic as a data entry research assistant. I am confident, diligent and have extensive customer service experience. I am very comfortable working in communicative environment, an important aspect of the publishing industry. I believe my organisational, analytical and communication skills would make me an asset to your company.
