About me

I am a recent graduate of Architecture (Part I) and I am seeking to
continue my professional development in the architectural industry. I
have completed two placements in Architecture practices as part of my
studies at the University of Bath, and with this experience, I believe
I am well placed to offer a broad range of skills to a potential
employer.

I have worked on a range of projects of varying size and complexity
including work in Education, Residential (one-off houses and small
developments), Student Housing and Retail sectors.

I have experience across all work stages, from feasibility through
to practical completion and I have benefited from working as part of a
design team with structural and services engineers, quantity surveyors,
architects, contractors and clients. I enjoy working as part of a
dynamic and multi-disciplined team in addition to working independently
when required.

Throughout university, I have developed my design and presentation
skills, and I have excellent skills in hand-drawing and model making. I
am highly experienced in the use of AutoCad; Revit; SketchUp Pro; Adobe
Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; and Microsoft Office and I am able
to learn new programs quickly.

In addition to my design skills, I am also experienced in
administrative duties. I completed a training programme for the Young
People's Council, where I gained qualifications in Communication:
Speaking and Listening and Meeting Skills. This training culminated in
the organisation and hosting of a launch event for the Young People's
Council. In my work experience, I have completed daily administrative
tasks including answering telephones calls, responding to e-mails,
welcoming visitors and filing. With this breadth of experience, I
believe I would be a versatile candidate for a role within
architectural and design practices.
