About me
I have completed my BA Hons degree course at the Nottingham Trent University, achieving a 2:1 honours, and receiving a 1st in my dissertation submission. Since completion I have been awarded a monetary prize for my flatwork, relating to the brief of The Lighting Association Competition, and a ceremony in Stratford upon Avon, hosted by The Lighting Association. Straight after, I exhibited at Free Range, in Brick Lane, and went on to New Designers in Islington. I found this very rewarding and learned more about the quality and diversity of new products currently in the market place.During my studies at Nottingham Trent University, I was required to fulfil a year's placement, which took place at Fray Design, Skipton, North Yorkshire, where my skills in computer aided design programmes, such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, SolidWorks and 3D Studio Max, were utilised to great effect, whilst designing and presenting for a range of different commercial industries, including court rooms, such as West Lothian; taking into consideration the requirements of DDA compliancy and Judge's sightlines.I would be very interested in a position within the Kitchen Architecture company, as I feel I have a lot to offer as a graduate designer, and believe your company could offer me the best knowledge and experience in the kitchen design industry. Please find my CV attached, and if you require my Portfolio (PDF format) including the 'tom.dick.and.harry' lighting, for which I received award and commendation, and an invitation to visit Philips lighting company in Eindhoven, Holland, during spring of 2010, please get in touch and I will happily forward it to you.I look forward to hearing from you, and if you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
