About me

Caterina Baldi is a children's and YA illustrator, a translator and animator. She graduated in Animation, Modern Literature and Visual Art and soon began working for renowned publishers, magazines and companies around the world. In 2011, her work was displayed at Bologna Children's Book Fair and the exhibit travelled to the most important museums in Japan. Since 2019, she has been working for the prestigious Lemonade Illustration Agency thanks to which she has branched out into fashion, advertising and more.

Her style has been described as striking, polished and imaginative, her research aims to communicate the delicate and profound relations between things. She loves drawing food, landscapes, portraits, animals, fashion, ordinary and extraordinary scenes and much more, which she can tailor to the needs of her clients thanks to her flexible approach and versatility. Let her take you into the dream world of a picture book, make your mouth water with an inviting cake for a food review, take your breath away with amazing landscapes displayed in the middle of a gray city, or seduce your mind with enigmatic characters and puzzling scene on a cover book or among the pages of a fashion magazine.

Caterina also writes picture books and dreams of one day create a feature animation. Between jobs and projects, she combines her passion for yoga and astrology with long walks in nature.
