About me

I am currently working for one of Europe's top five IT companies as a Web / Graphic User Interface Designer. My background is graphic design for print web and video and I took this position with a view to learning industry standard methodologies developing web applications. With the event of web 2.0 and the growth of internet based applications succeeding conventional websites, I thought this knowledge would be invaluable for understanding challenges of future digital strategies.

Prior to joining Steria I ran a small consultancy offering design services for print, web and broadcasting. In many cases I ran projects spanned all three media types.

My most recent project within broadcast sector was the design of a suite graphics for Reuters (London and New York) for their displaying live market financial reports. These included broadcast-ready animated 3D templates that displayed live market data. It was also a requirement to output to the web. This specialist knowledge has provided work for the BBC, SKY and CNN.

I have also designed and built a similar suite of graphics for the London Stock Exchange which is still used by all the main broadcasters for reporting live financial reports form the City.

Online branding has become something of a speciality I have developed brand guidelines and redesigned respective website for the London Stock Exchange, Dixons Group International, American Express and BMW.
