About me

I am a 22 year old graduate having studied journalism, communication studies and Spanish. I am very interested in both travel, research and writing. I have extremely good written, communication and administration skills. I am PC literate and have experience in editing and photography.

I also have substantive research experience. As part of my final dissertation I spent a month in Barbados in February 2005 looking at how the church and politics affect the media industry in Barbados. I also produced a short programme about it and secured interviews with current and ex- media workers as well as government employees. I produced and directed the film from start to finish

On a personal level, I am exceptionally organised and studying Journalism has also enabled me to work very well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. As well as being a team player I am also capable of working well independently.

I enjoy watching lifestyle programmes like Airport, Airline and A place in the Sun and Caribbean Uncovered as well as music, entertianment and reality shows and and would like to work within any of these genres of programming.

I am a hardworking; reliable and very optimistic person and I am always ready for a new challenge.
