About me

I am a hard working, self motivated person who has always aimed for and achieved high standards. With both a strong academic and creative background I feel I possess a wide range of transferable skills.I have graduated from the University of Leeds in a degree in Mixed Media Textile Design, in which I achieved a 2:1.This degree has enabled me to expand both my personal and creative ability and combined core design modules with key theoretical concepts. I like to be challenged and on completing my degree took the oppotunity to relocate to sydney for 4 months where I was able to undertake sevaral work placements with highly reputed companies within both the Australian, and worlwide creative industries. From both my degree and work placements I have strengthened my ability to work from my own initiative, taking an idea through a process of development to a final outcome, working to strict deadlines. I have become comercially aware of current markets and possess strong computer skills. I am now back in the UK and am eager to begin my career within the creative industry.
