About me

I feel I am an extremely creative person and enjoy producing design solutions from start to finish. I have excellent communication skills and feel I am approachable and a good listener making sure tasks are done correctly. I enjoy new challenges and feel I am a fast learner. In previous employment I have learnt how to be a good team player and to work under pressure.

I studied multimedia design at Northumbria university This course has not only taught me the design skills in many CAD packages but has also taught me to be a good design conceptional thinker. I am fully experienced in using both Apple Mac and PC. I also have learnt many computer skills and feel extremely confident in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Macro Media Flash, Dream weaver, and Adobe After effects and have produced many creative websites.

I am currently working as a graphic designer for Fluid Design Solutions, which is an interior design firm for the leisure industry. Duties here include assisting the interior designers when needed to produce mood boards, graphics, brochure and signage for the venues that they design. Not only do I design for Fluid Design Solutions but I also design for the partner company Fluid Group. This company owns five city centre bars in Newcastle which are Perdu, Quilted Camel, The Mushroom Bar, Fluid bar and kitchen and Barluga. I design promotional material such as menu's, flyers, posters, invites, stationary, and adverts for the five venues.
