About me

I am a graduate of Bournemouth University Media School, having completed a BA degree in Media Production, receiving first class honours. I have mainly studied video production although the course also included production of other digital media texts such as CD-Roms, DVDs (including authoring), a Flash game, small animations, a website and a non-linear interactive DVD. I have learned how to use camera, lighting and sound recording equipment, write screenplays, produce, direct, and edit media products. One of my best achievements was producing an advert to highlight the dangers of drinking whilst pregnant which the FAS Aware charity is extremely pleased with and is looking to broadcast. I received an achievement award for outstanding academic performance and am also to receive a letter of commendation from the university.

My previous experience of media production has confirmed that it is a career I would like to pursue. I have also gained good experience of working in and office and performing reception duties. I have developed excellent organisational skills and have good attention to detail. I can be flexible in work hours and have a full clean driving license.

I am looking for an entry level position most likely as a runner, assistant or trainee in any aspect of media production although I particularly enjoy production planning and post-production
