Design Manager

Dear Sir or Madam,

I write in response to your job advertisement.

I have 11 years' experience as a graphic designer with the last 3 years in a design/production management role. Within these positions I have:

Coordinated multiple projects both nationally and locally, working with a variety of stakeholders to ensure projects delivered on time, within budget, strong brand identity and suitable for target audience.

Developed and coordinated regional printing across fire services to reduce costs to the individual authority.

Designed brochures, logos, leaflets, posters, banners, exhibition graphics, packaging, websites and corporate stationery for both internal and external customers.

Developed the capabilities of the in house design team, researching and improving equipment problem, training and techniques.

Key strengths include problem solving, decision making and combined with the people skills this helps to ensure the smooth running of projects. I am also highly organised and flexible in my approach.

I enjoy the hands on side to the design process and I'm keen to continue to work in a busy fast paced environment that is challenging and fulfilling, this position seems to be an ideal opportunity to do that.
