About me

I, Carol Jardine, consider myself to be a friendly, outgoing individual with an eye for detail and a good work ethic. I enjoy a new challenge, am a quick learner, and am looking for a good opportunity to develop my skills within my fields of interest. My main fields of interests are digital/print media and photography.

I have work experience in Retouching/Graphic design in a glamour portrait Photographic studio and Graphic Design/Art working for a publishing and events comapany. Retouching/ image manipulation, conceptualising and Layout are my strongest graphic skills.

I am qualified in Visual Communications specialising in Art Direction for advertising. Within this qualification I recieved a Desk Top Publishing diploma in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Freehand, and a Marketing Communications Diploma. I proceeded to do some short courses in Photography and Web Design. Included in my studies was an internship at an Advertising Agency, working with the Art Director/Copywriter teams.

I consider myself to be an all rounder, being PC and Mac Literate, also having a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and good communication skills developed from my Reception/Customer service experience.

Personally I have a good nature, am confidant to work on my own but do work well in a team. My personal passions are photography, and the outdoors.

I am ultimately looking for a position in a company that I could grow within and improve my skills within the creative industry.
