About me

My name is Carmen Allison. I've been working as a post production editor for 15 years with a passion for everything I do. I pride myself on being able to tell exciting and engaging stories and edit content for a variety of different genres ranging from music videos and documentaries to corporate and educational films. My main strength lies in my ability to create seamless and engaging narratives to bring to life your stories and ideas. I have experience with a variety of editing packages including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and Avid and I also have knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop.

My interest in editing became clear from when I was a child. I used to love driving with my father around the highlands and I always loved making little edits in my head whilst the bagpipe music blared out over the radio.

I followed my interest in film making by studying a HNC and HND in media production, of which I passed with distinctions. From there I pursued various editing roles working with some fantastic people and companies including 3Sixty Media, Granada Manchester, BBC Manchester, ADI TV, Liverpool TV and Everton TV. More recently, I have gained most of my skillset and experience working with the amazing people at Heehaw, Beard Askew Productions, Surface Area, Jonnie Lewis Film, Bad Madam and 14/18 Now.

My aim is to make your vision become a reality and to tell your story the way you want.
