About me

I'm a Graphics student currently studying Visual Communications in my final year at Birmingham City University (formerly University of Central England).

I have a real interest in working within design, particularly branding. Over the years, a combination of hard work and talent has enabled me to excel in this field.

During my time as a student I have had a variety of part-time and holiday jobs, all of which required me to work as part of a team and to deal directly with the public. I found my time at the travel company Voyana where I worked in the IT department for 3 months particularly valuable. I was responsible for creating all the graphic design work for the company, which was dispatched to consumers in the form of emails, mini-brochures and postcards. I also created a 16-page insert, which was marketed in conjunction with the Daily Telegraph newspaper and distributed to over a million consumers.

I was recently commissioned to design a logo for an up and coming Travel Company. I am eagerly looking for freelance work and experience in the creative industry.

I see myself as being outgoing, lively, spontaneous, friendly and enthusiastic. I am a clear thinker and am able to understand and communicate at a high level, which I believe is an essential skill. I am a hard worker and above all I take responsibility very seriously. I believe I am an asset to any team and would welcome the opportunity to move into a progressive environment.
