About me

For over a year and a half, I have been working as a Multimedia Producer on the ITV.com site. I have been primarily responsible for the creation and delivery of all the sports video content across this successful web property, working with the Sport Editor, Head of Content and broadcast teams to deliver high-quality video content to the site, which has driven significant traffic increases. I have created packages for the 2007 Rugby World Cup, Big Fight Live, F1, Euro 2008, recently the FA Cup and other sports events.

My most recent successes have included both tight delivery to deadline and more creative work. For example, for the 2007 Rugby World Cup and Euro 2008, after each match, I was able to turn out 3-minute highlights onto the site between 15-20 minutes after the final whistle. On the creative side of things, with approval from the sports editor, I decide how clips will be presented, in terms of use of content and elements (i.e. slates, transition styles). I have also had the great opportunity to help organise early stage FA Cup matches, in which the highlights were shown on the site, by allocating camera positions, meeting with the key members of a football club to inform them of what the crew would be doing, and being responsible for making sure all desired footage, like interviews, was taken.

I am an experienced editor with knowledge in creating web packages, familiar with HD cameras, work at an intermediate level on Final Cut Pro, and a great team player.
