About me

I am a very enthusiastic young designer with almost seven years of commercial design experience. I enjoy working as an active team member, with the ability to conceptualize and come up with creative design solutions. I am hard working and enjoy a fast paced environment. I was employed by Kel Geddes Management (baby photographer and fine artist Anne Geddes) for four and a half years, learning and gaining experience within an up-market, high demanding environment. My last six months of employment with Kel Geddes Management I was promoted as the main website designer, developing and re-designing annegeddes.com. Learning how to make sure that all electronic and hard copy jobs were saved and filed clearly and correctly. I also know how to send and receive files through the FTP system.

I have proven mac operator and design skills. Highly experienced with InDesign CS2, Quark, PageMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator, FreeHand, Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Distiller. I have completed basic Flash courses, gaining a small understanding of the application but I am very keen to learn more. Able to demonstrate excellent time management skills and I have a high level of attention to detail. I am confident in taking each different project from initial concept through to print ready artwork. Following through with proofing of artwork to ensure accurate reproduction.

I am very passionate about my work and care to see a job done well. As a creative individual I enjoy furthering my ideas and thinking by visiting galleries, reading design magazines and looking into short courses that would help me.
