About me

In the summer of 2006, I experienced my greatest accomplishment so far. Whilst in a Leeds band, we won a competition to support Bon Jovi for 2 nights at Milton Keynes Bowl in June 2006. Although it certainly was a great and memorable moment in my life, I also gained skills that I can relate to my career. For the 2 weeks leading upto the event from winning the competition, I was put under serious pressure to promote and design for the band. With this in mind, I feel that I learnt how to deal with such pressure and hard work that this industry can bring.

I have no previous experience in the design industry, other than college, so I'm looking for junior work to get started.

I have been studying in the fields of Graphic Design and Digital Media for 4 years now, starting in 2003 and finishing in 2007. In this time period, I have received a National Diploma in Graphic Design and a Higher National Diploma in Digital Media. My time in Graphic Design allowed me to be creative and gave me a certain level of freedom in my work, something I enjoy. This is the when I fell in love such industry standard software, as Photoshop and Illustrator. I'm very interested in illustration and love the possibilities that this medium can bring. My last project on this course was spent with a band in Worksop and designing for them. I gained much experience in communication and working with clients, a skill that is necessary in the design industry.
