About me
I am a graphic designer with extensive experience across the creative disciplines in a career that has included roles as a designer, layout artist, copywriter, proofreader and sub-editor.
Much of this time has been spent broadly within the publishing industry working on a diverse range of projects such as the redesign of a London listings magazine; the redesign of a national ethnic newspaper; copywriting for a large plc; newspaper sub-editing (page layout, copy fitting and rewrites, proofreading, caption, intro and headline writing) and book design.
My employers and private clients have included The Department for Education, a large NHS-affiliated healthcare association, a pharmaceutical organisation and several large national and international companies for whom I have undertaken the design of brochures, leaflets, posters, educational booklets, corporate identity, advertisements, marketing materials and multifarious pieces of jobbing graphics.
Recent forays into the digital arena include work on e-learning materials, contribution to website design, banners, adverts and graphics for the web, and the design of my own Flash-based portfolio website (address above).
Personal message
"I strongly believe that my broad experience gained across several of the creative industries has resulted in a multi-faceted approach to my work that allows me to see a design problem from all angles, thereby enabling me to bring added value to my contribution to any given task and further allowing me the possibility of an overview that others may not be able to offer."
