About me

I am Camille Vyskocil Whitty, an Undergraduate Product Designer at Leeds University. I knew this was the career path for me when I started secondary school, and I met my Product Design teacher, his passion about the subject wore off on me and this only grows day by day, constantly learning about designs from everything around me. Having an older brother who is an artist was very influential to me, always aspiring to him, which stimulated my creativity further. My mother is a very creative person herself and is often sketching or painting and was always making sure that we had lots of art materials to work with to give us as much encouragement and ideas, so I grew up in this environment. My father is a Mechanical Engineer so the influence towards a more practical mix of subjects to study and wanting to have an engineering understanding was always there. I look up to Philippe Starck, he is my main inspiration of the Product Design industry. I love his designs and I one day wish that he could see my work. I am very ambitious and creative; I have an itch to travel the world designing everything and anything from everyday products to automotive design.
