About me
I am currently a Production Assistant at Mendoza Films; where we take a fairly holistic view of our workplace this has meant I have gained experience in a number of fields however when projects are ongoing I am primarily tasked with the logistics of shooting, this means assisting with filming schedules, as well as booking cast, crews and locations.
I have gained experience in communicating effectively with stakeholders of all levels and backgrounds, including senior management at multinational organisations. I am therefore comfortable explaining and organising film processes with those who are not as experienced in this field, as well as the filing out of NDA's and other legal documents and contracts.
My favourite part of working in the film industry is working on set and on shoot days. I worked as a runner as a teenager on sets before I began my current role. I am very happy to help out in all and every department of a film crew.
I am currently in charge of our website I therefore am more than comfortable with the uploading of videos as well as post-production assistance. I am adapt with Final Cut Pro as my current job has me making edits as well as subtitles for video pitches and directors showreels.
Throughout my education, I have predominantly undertaken essay-based subjects which have allowed me to develop meticulous writing skills. I have adapted this skillset to effective communications by ways of production briefs, pitches, and decks.
In current job, I am responsible for first pitch budgeting, In this department I have gained extensive experience with excel and a requirement to be supremely organised, when compiling budgets of hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Since I left University I have only worked in the Media industry this has given me lots of experience in advertising and media strategy.
