About me
I am a recent Textile Design Graduate from Loughborough University, specialising in Multimedia Textiles for Costume. My personal practice is heavily details-focused, combining traditional techniques with contemporary design to evoke character, and to enhance performance.
My work is conceptual, thoughtful and dramatic, using a plethora of techniques to create final pieces. My personal specialism is in embellishment and embroidery, with professional training in Corsetry, Garment construction and digital practices.
I also work with hard materials, such as plastics, wood and metals; combined with CAD design, machine work, digital embroidery and print. I am always up for a challenge and love exercising myself creatively. No task is too big or too small!
I approach tasks with innovation, determination and dedication, striving to achieve the best possible results in portraying character and textile design.
