About me

I graduated from La Salle SIA college of the Arts in 2000 and have obtained a diploma in jewellery design ( fine arts ), I would like to highlight that I even obtained a A grade in my area of specialization - jewellery design. I am currently a freelance designer and am servicing a few clients at the moment for jewellery design as well as the marketing aspect of some clients. My clients include Aurora jewellery, Jewel Box, DeGEM Malaysia. Prior to freelancing, I was from Forever Jewels Pte Ltd. I was designing for its retail brand March, my collections for this brand includes "Passion" and "Enchantment" with more collection coming up for the brand in tandem for their Flagship store opening at the Marina Bay Sands integrated resorts in Singapore. Besides March, I have also developed the line "Pride" for its other retail brand "Cupid". I am also tasked to assist the European and Middle Eastern wholesale clientele, as well as its new wholesale brand Assasino. I am also responsible for overseeing the production of my designs with the company's manufacturing plant in Shunde, China. Prior to Forever Jewels, I was with Tianpo Jewellery Pte Ltd, as it's senior jewellery designer. My job scope includes visiting fairs to keep in touch with the latest trends. I am also responsible for all major projects which include designing the signature piece under the brand name of "Hearts on Fire" Diamonds "Royale" for the Singapore Jewel Festival 2007, as well as all other major collection launches such as "dearest" 2007, " Hier" 2007, "Le Temps" 2007 and the more recent spring and summer 2008. I am also responsible for its various product lines such as its bridal and 22K gold lines.

I started my career with Risis Pte Ltd as a senior product designer with responsibilities of designing and making the master models for all it's accessory collections which includes : celestial dreams (2003), Vanda (2003), Vanda light (2004) as well as Xylem (2005). All of which have been featured on all local major fashion magazines such as Her World, Female, Style, Nu You and men's health. . I was also responsible in the company's participation of the Singapore fashion festival in 2005 which includes planning of the theme for the products as well as the production of 20 pieces of couture designs for the event. Besides creating products for its retail arm, I am also responsible in creating designs for its corporate customers such as the twelve zodiac charms for World of Fengshui.

Before Tianpo Jewellery, I was with the Singapore arm of JB Jewelry as it's senior jewellery designer as well. My responsiblities were to attend trade fairs to keep in touch with the latest in jewellery manufacturing technology as well as design trends. I also visit the company's manufacturing arm in Panyu, Guangzhou, China to oversee the production of my designs. My designs were mainly for clients in the middle east such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Prior to JB Jewelry (S) Pte Ltd, I was also with Goldheart Jewelry Pte Ltd. before it's acquisition and was then transferred to Aspial Corp ( Lee Hwa ) jewelry. I have created goldheart's anniversary double hearts collection as well as it's Jewel Festival (2005) ( midnight belle and jewel wonderland ). I was also involved in the setting up of its booth space in the fair which includes its visual and product selection as well. I also designed Lee Hwa's wedding band and spring summer 2006 such as "Sultry Shimmer" and "Lacy Legacy".
