About me

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to apply for your advertised position of UI Designer and would like to tell you a bit more about myself. I have recently moved with my family from Canada where I worked as a Web Designer and Design Coordinator specializing in UX/UI and leading a team of up to 6 people, as well as coordinating projects between multiple departments in a large company.

Due to the processes involved at my previous job, I cannot rightly take credit for any of the design work there as the majority of it was in a constant state of edit by the head of Marketing and the owner of the company. Instead, I decided to make the interface of my website at the portfolio itself as a demonstration of my skills both as a graphic artist and as a web designer/developer. Please have a moment to look around my site and try some of the different "skins" that change the appearance of the site without redirecting the user to a different page or reloading it.

I pride myself on my ability to develop new skills and have been fortunate enough to work in an industry that is constantly evolving and always providing new challenges. I have a strong eye for detail, but also love working closely with a client in order to create a product that suits their needs.
