About me

I have recently finished studying photography at university. I feel I would be great for this job as I am extremely passionate about the industry and I have relevant work experience and knowledge to do the job well. At university I specialised in fashion photography so I know quite a bit about the industry from doing work experience and setting up my own photo shoots. Having done work experience with Premier Park Studios, it allowed me to witness fashion shoots and furniture/home ware shoots first-hand and I was able to help out with all the odd jobs needed to ensure the shoot runs smoothly, for example steaming clothes, sourcing and setting up equipment. As well as this I was taught how to use CaptureOne which I learnt very quickly. I have been using Photoshop since college so editing images comes naturally to me. I have also worked for Marks and Spencer on their photo shoots, helping with set ups and being able to watch a shoot from start to finish, which was a great learning experience. Other than this I have organised shoots for my own portfolio. Although I haven't had a lot of experience with food photography, I learn very quickly and I use my initiative in situations I am not sure of. I am hard-working, reliable, I can work fast under pressure and I love being creative with my work. I strive to achieve the best possible outcome whether that is working on my own or within a team.

Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Brydie Leishman
