About me
Being raised in a rural environment on the Navajo Nation reservation in the southwestern part of the U.S.A., has nourished me with pithy and awareness of the importance of Art and Design. Being raised in an artistic home of weavers and silver-smiths, I would sit and listen to their values of visual awareness. The importance of visual communication has always been a lesson that I take with me wherever I go, and I believe in the power of first impressions and listening with eyes. Attending Arizona State University School of Design has refined my artistic eye and technical skills.
I am humble in the presence of people who wish to pass knowledge of their life's work, companies who wish their voices heard, and a world that is wanting something new. I enjoy interacting with people who share different views and ideas. As an artist, it is important to understand the lay of the land, the deep and rocky sides of the world, and the layers of sediments that has made us who we are today. To enter the design world with a statement makes it easier to tell a story.
