About me

I believe I would be suitable for a buying, merchandising, visual display or personal assistant position, because I have been active in the fashion industry since graduating from University in 2004 with a BA in Fashion Merchandising. I am interested in working in these positions as my interests, education and job experience circulate these areas.

I have had experience assisting my manager in ordering retail stock and conducting inventory and stock control: noticing which products are consistently selling and needing re-ordering. Due to my communications skills, I helped to train and teach new employees how to move slower selling products they'd previously found difficult to sell. I would monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales sheets and log customers into databases.

Including experience as a makeup artist, cosmetics sales associate, and fashion house intern I have eleven years experience in retail. I was also the assistant to a public relations agent and an escrow officer. I was a fashion intern for Zandra Rhodes Studio in Solana Beach, California.

I have cultivated an eye for fashion, design and colour being a freelance makeup artist. My work has been featured in photo shoots and various fashion shows.

I'm looking for a creative company which will value my hard work and teach me new skills, and progession into a career .
