About me

I am an Executive Creative Director at Zulu Alpha Kilo, one of Canada's top agencies - and proudly independent.

I have worked in both Toronto, CAN, and London, UK, and have received hundreds of industry awards, including international recognition from Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clios, and Webbys. Also, I have won more Effie Canada effectiveness awards than anyone else.

I have been ranked amongst the top creatives in the country multiple times by Strategy magazine and have an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. (Advertising is a business after all.)

Recent notable accomplishments:

Our Dove "Courage is Beautiful" campaign, celebrating front-line healthcare workers, launched in Canada and was adapted for 15 global markets, achieved 2 billion+ earned PR views, made the cover of NY Times, and was the most awarded Health & Beauty campaign in the world in 2020. It has also donated $7 million+ in badly-needed supplies to battle against COVID-19.

Cannes Lions GRAND PRIX in Print & Publishing + Cannes Lions GRAND PRIX in Industry Craft + 3 golds, 2 silvers and currently shortlisted for Titanium.

One Yellow and two Graphite D&AD Pencils in 2021.

#1 Chief Creative Officer in Canada in 2021 One Show rankings (although, officially, they had me ranked #2 in the UK. I've asked them to move me to the correct country.)

11 One Show Pencils in 2021. 4 gold. 4 silver. 3 bronze.

Awarded 7 Clio Award trophies in 2021.

Two campaigns on Ad Age's "Best of 2020" list.

Took the helm of Ogilvy creative department in 2017 and, in 2018, we won Cannes Lions on multiple campaigns - agency's first in 10 years - and we won again in 2019 and a Grand Prix in 2021. (There were no Lions in 2020.)

Ogilvy Toronto named 2019 Effie Canada "Agency of the Year."

Ogilvy Toronto named 4th most effective agency in North America by 2020 Effie Awards (only Canadian agency in Top 10).

Ogilvy Canada ranked 4th on 2019 Strategy Agency of the Year list, highest finish for Ogilvy in 12 years and 2nd highest ever. (WPP didn't enter in 2020 due to COVID.)
