About me

I am a graphic designer with over five years experience in the publishing field.

Currently I am working as the Art Editor and Photographer for an award winning lifestyle magazine called INOUT Magazine. INOUT is a bi-annual magazine that caters for three individual areas: Chester & North Wales, Manchester & North Cheshire and Liverpool & Wirral.

In total I am designing six 100 page magazines over 12 months as well as performing most of the photography for each publication.

For two years I was working as the Senior Designer for the Southwark News, an independent newspaper in central London, as well as the Southwark Weekender.

Previously I worked for two years on monthly and bi-monthly magazines at the award winning publishing company Condé Nast, who are responsible for the titles of Golf Digest, Men's Health, Sports Digest and Shapemagazine to name a few. This portfolio, solely in publications, has given me a solid understanding of magazine design and the technical side of the print process.

I have the efficiency to work quickly and confidently within a tight team, the ability to work on sharp deadlines and make the correct choices when the unlikely situations become the norm; and ultimately produce a quality product.
