About me

As a Media graduate with a strong desire to work in post-production and a passion for editing, I believe I am a good candidate for the position.

You will see from my enclosed CV that I have gained a wide variety of transferable and specific skills, which relate to working for your company:

-Production Experience: Other than the projects carried out at university, I have also had the

pleasure to do some work experience at a local production company. My placement at Pepper

Films Productions gave me invaluable insight into the whole production process; with hands on

experience of location filming, logging rushes, editing, office work and general Runner duties.

-Interest in the Media: My enjoyment and critical interest in the media (television, film,

journalism, advertising and music) increased noticeably throughout my degree and have continued to grow since then.

-Computer Skills: During my time at university and in my current line of work I have expanded my knowledge and confidence on Microsoft programs such as Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher. I am also now confident in using Apple Macs and many of the programs on that system.

-Writing/research Skills: My degree has proven my ability to express critical opinions within a sustained argument. A high level of research and analytical reading was essential to reach this standard. The experiences of writing articles, reviews and short film scripts have increased my confidence in these skills.
