About me

Hi,

My name is Brian Byrne. I'm an twenty five year old industrial designer currently working and living in Dublin. I am applying for the position of Exhibition Designer which i came across through creativepool.co.uk. I am looking for my next challenge and feel i would be a great fit to the Team. Since graduating in 2010 I have built up a huge amount of experience. I have worked with many different companies on a wide range of projects and products both as part of a team and self driven. I have been involved in all facets of the design process, bringing products from research stage through to manufacture. I worked on exhibition setups with different initiatives around Dublin.

Co-founder/ Industrial designer for Mint Design Ltd

Co-founder/ Design Team for Remake Design Network

Solidworks lecturer to Masters Biomedical course in Trinity

I won the James Dyson Award coming out of college which gave me the opportunity to visit the dyson R&D Department. I met and learnt from some great designers and engineers, this gave me great insight on how to start my design career. Since then I have developed and honed my design process.

I am an extremely driven designer with a passion to innovate and push boundaries of all projects I am involved with. I am constantly looking for new ways to interact and connect with the user so as to develop products that result in effortless understanding and use.
