About me

I started my career in print as a time served apprenticeship compositor and over a period of 40+ years have accumulated experience of pre-press production for most aspects of print, including: leaflets, brochures, annual reports, magazines and latterly producing artwork for recruitment advertising for NorthgateArinso, an advertising agency based in Richmond, Surrey.

I am fully conversant with QuarkXpress, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. I have a good sense of humour and consider my main attributes to be a good eye for detail, design awareness and a conscientious approach to time and cost management. Having previously run my own graphic design business I am also very aware of the need for good client and colleague communication in a polite, friendly and non-confrontational manner, even though time constraints and pressures are of paramount importance.

In my personal life I am interested in most forms of sport, particularly football (being a Fulham supporter) and also like music across a wide range from Genesis to Coldplay, Kings of Leon to Elbow, furniture restoration and walking the family dog.
