About me
I'm a versatile graphic designer who specialises in brand and logo design with over 6 years industry experience.
I thrive in creative environments and love being part of the design process from conception to completion.
I'm always looking for opportunities to push creative boundaries and deliver disruptive, engaging and exciting work. The ability to do so is amplified when an agency shares this ethos as it leads to awesome work that is able to satisfy all 5 of the consumer senses which is key for building brand advocacy. Being someone who enjoys formulating brand concepts, particularly logo design, I'm excited for the opportunity to be part of a team that is focused on giving brands a unique voice.
At Oliver (Clarion Events) I worked on briefs for clients such as Starbucks and Top Drawer, designing a range of print and digital collateral. A significant project I worked on was for The Luxury Travel Fair. I was trusted as creative lead by the show director and worked closely with the marketing team. My task was to uplift the 2018 one-piece mailer in order to attract more high-end brands. For this I explored everything from paper stocks to sourcing imagery that suited their new direction.
Since the birth of my twins I've really had to embrace a whole new way of life thus leading me to leaving my role at Oliver. Being a stay-at-home dad and freelancing has proven to be a huge learning curve and it has taught me the importance of patience, planning, instinctual thinking and multitasking. Whilst freelancing most of my work has been for start-ups and small organisations ranging from restaurants to a men's fashion accessory brand, opportunities that have allowed me to focus on developing my digital skillset.
