About me
Dear members of the recruiting crew,
My name is Borja Ribes Blanquer and I am Spanish. I wish to apply for the post of Video/Editor Production Assistant you published on the CreativePool.co.uk Website.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Image and Sound Telecommunications Engineering and Audiovisual Communication in Spain. In addition, I have recently completed a Master's Degree in Advanced Digital Post-production.
I consider my strong points for the job are that I have the education and the technical audio and video engineering background required.
My qualifications enable me to:
- carry out multiple activities in the audio-visual, information and communication, multimedia, recording and dubbing industries.
- develop techniques associated with audio-visual processes, from digital image manipulation to sound design, from image and sound takes to presenting the end product.
- carry out the control of video/audio recording systems and studio equipment: cameras, lighting, acoustics, sound and image processing, production control rooms, editing rooms, post production facilities...
- A/V systems configuration, connection and troubleshooting.
- draw up projects for cable, wave and broadcast communication, audio-visual and multimedia applications and support.
- skilled in post production audio and video software tools: Avid, Pro Tools, After Effects, etc.
- carry out news editing, creation, production and the direction in the different audio-visual media, the mass media and audio-visual and publicity companies.
I am efficient, capable of finishing tasks with a short deadline. I consider myself open-minded, dynamic, well-organized, self-motivated, ambitious, perfectionist, hard-working and tidy, with the ability to integrate in group workflows, with a high level of written and verbal communication, flexible to work at any time if required. I am very respectful of other people and the environment, concerned of real-life problems. I also possess a deep sense of responsibility.
I consider myself good at establishing relationships with different people as I had the opportunity to travel to the United States for six months and that experience gave me self-confidence to communicate with new people and widened my cultural impressions.
I worked as an intern in a Civil Service Institution in Spain for four months developing video productions for the corporate department (video works are available at */). I also obtained another internship to work as an ADR/voiceover sound technician in a prestigious dubbing studio in Spain as well.
For everything mentioned above I would be glad to be given an opportunity to join the team of professionals that contribute with their talent to the industry.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully.
BORJA RIBES BLANQUER
