Pentameter offer a new approach to the agency client relationship. Styling themselves as a 'Purpose Agency' they provide consultancy in design and digital technologies to create change within people and companies. It’s the product of many impassioned coffee shop conversations between two people, that happens to be backed up by a combined 20 years experience and a desire for quality.
With their focus turned towards their first client, Pentameter asked me to help establish its own position; building a brand that shifts focus away from the trappings of digital RGB colours and imagary expected in the UX industry. Instead Pentameter borrows it’s visual language from simplicity and refinement. It’s their intention to humanise the digital sphere with an eye guided towards tactility and natural tones.
Although a team of two, Pentamer operate through an adaptable 'clover-leaf’ team of freelancers, for that reason consistency and clarity of brand message is as important across internal documents as much as external. This mantra was then carried across all materials to create a functional and consistent brand, with a breadth of design that worked for them everyday from invoices to client proposals.
