Why the name BigBellyDesign

The name popped up in my head some years ago. For me it's a metaphor for having a full and satisfied feeling, no worries, relax, lay back and enjoy. That's what I want my company to accomplish for it's customers: a BigBelly feeling.

So what exactly do you do

You will usually find me working on innovative interface designs and creating user interactions and experiences. But I understand that sounds very alien to most people. But it's quite the opposite! User interface design is a cross over between visual design(look and feel) and interaction design (how the look and feel work). Combine those two and you have an interface. The innovation part comes from a Design Thinking background, one cannot solve problems with the same kind of reasoning that created them.

My work follows the 'Keep It Simple Stupid' method - and I quote;

"Everything should be made as simple as possible,

but not simpler" (Albert Einstein)
