About me
I have been working professionally in video production for nearly 6 years, having been full-time as a video creative at a special-interests media company for the last 4 years. Predominantly I am a video editor, fluent with the Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects in which I have been trained, but I'm also adept at directing and filming (often at the same time) video shoots on a range of camera equipment in varying crew sizes, as well working in the capacity of AC and DIT.
As a highly visual individual who takes pleasure in the art of conveying ideas through the medium of moving-image, I have always taken great pride in my ability to produce quality content and deliver them within tight deadlines. Importantly, I am a strong collaborator and greatly value and understand the importance of team ethics.
I am well versed in leading commercial and corporate projects, from brands like Gardeners' World, BBC Good Food, Smirnoff, Green & Blacks, Hotpoint, SEAT and Lego, to name a few - where I have been responsible for the complete workflow, from brainstorming and pre-production to video shoot and post-production, dealing directly with stakeholders both internal and external, as well as handling individual tasks as and when required within the larger commercial team and editorial brands across the company. I've been able to produce high quality video, in a range of styles for a wide range of audiences and demographics.
