Further to your advertised vacancy, as above, please find attached my current CV in application for this position.
I am an enthusiastic Web Designer, with excellent skills in web design tools and techniques including HTML5, CSS, Responsive Web Design, Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, Fireworks CC, Pixelmator and Coda. Having achieved a Certified Internet Webmaster qualification, I am keen to secure a challenging role within Web Design. I have a natural passion for Art and Creativity, and have strong creative flair with excellent graphical skills and colour sense. I also have excellent communication and customer relationship skills with the ability to listen to and translate customer requirements in a creative way, whilst working within specified guidelines. Highly organised and able to prioritise my own work schedule, I can multitask to effectively manage multiple projects, ensuring that all work meets customers' requirements and is delivered within the agreed timescale.
In previous positions I have gained recognition for the creative work I have produced, and also for my enthusiasm for IT. In my current role as a Website Manager I am managing and updating the schools CMS website, I also use my skills in innovation and creativity to create eye-catching artwork and wall displays, and develop engaging learning activities and role-play areas in my other role as a Teaching Assistant. I am also a Freelance Creative Artworker currently creating print work for clients from inception to final delivery.
I am keen to pursue a career as a Web Designer as I feel my background, skills and ability would benefit this role and your organisation. I am highly motivated, driven by achievement and very much a people person, with the ability to work as part of a team.
