My name is Bhairavi and as a Fashion designer with 4 years of experience I have an expertise in creating garments from start to finish. I specialise in womenswear and menswear design and thus am well-versed with its sizing and construction. As a Fashion Designer, I am highly skilled in creating garment designs from scratch along with their technical packs. In my previous contract at Clearly Invincible, I created technical packs with detailed CAD drawings that were sent to the manufacturers for production. I included the front, back, side and interior views of each design and also added zoomed views of small details where necessary. Along with that, I also included sizes and grading as per their target market. My technical packs are production ready and can be sent over to manufacturers around the world. They are simple and easy to comprehend in order to make the manufacturer understand every element and construction detail of the design. I am certain that I can create comprehensive technical packs for your clothing line and also help communicate with manufactures if needed in order to achieve an accurately well made sample.
As I have vast knowledge of textile science, I handle Fabric and Material Sourcing for many of my clients, suggesting fabrics and its compositions for each design within their Budget. I can also coordinate with the vendors and manage the sampling and ordering of the fabrics. This year I travelled to India to source the finest fabrics for a Parisian Brand, .
Since manufacturing is a very important and time consuming task, I can also help you with finding the right manufactures and explaining the designs to them. I have thorough experience with working alongside Asian and Parisian Manufacturers since I regularly interact with them for my clients.
Having worked with several apparel brands in the Europe and USA I have developed a deep understanding of the European and American fashion market trends, style analysis and consumer preferences. Additionally, living in the fashion capital gives me an immense amount of exposure to multiple aspects of design creation and brand development. In terms of skill proficiency, I have a Degree in Fashion Design and Technology from International Fashion Academy, Paris and I am an expert in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign as I have been using them for the past 6 years.
