About me
I am an experienced communications professional with 6.7 years of experience, of which more than 5 years is with Edelman India. As an Account Manager, I was responsible for devising communications strategy for key announcements, events and report launches, keeping in mind client's objective and requirements.
During my experience with Edelman, I have drafted, reviewed and curated content for media and social media handles for my clients. The kind of content involved - posts for specific announcements, research reports and events, drafting short form and long form blogs for senior executives, curating merchant case studies, engaging articles for the newsroom section of the website, and all types of media content. It gave me an opportunity to think differently for each channel/ platform and target the right audience.
Apart from being the key point of contact for media on my accounts, I was leading client engagement, planned and implemented integrated campaigns across media and social media, one of them was launch of the mcommerce report which garnered exceptional traction across platforms.
I have led a team and have been responsible for training and assisting colleagues in delivering desired outcomes for clients and setting right expectations. I have been commended for attention to detail and leading the tasks assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
An MBA degree in Marketing from Mumbai University has helped me in understanding the nuances of marketing.
